Talking Hi!

This Friday I will be picking up a new to me 2008 Springdale 179RD. I am trading in my 17 foot Widebody Burro as part of the deal. Loved that little trailer, but after a 3 week trip to Baja with a friend, decided I would like more elbow room. My tow vehicle is a 2010 5.7 liter Toyota Tundra . Pulls the Burro like there is nothing there and I averaged 13.5-14 mpg. I am willing to trade some gas mileage for the extra space, but hope it won't be drastically different. My first trip will be near Show Low and the Rim here in Arizona.

Hi gailtodd, congrads on your new to you trailer, I'm sure that you will have lots of good times camping in it! Let me extend to you an invite to join the Tundra owners social group where you can discuss your towing experiences with your Tundra and read what others have to say. See you there.

Glad to have another small TT owner on board . This is a place where size really doesn't matter, but many of the new TTs are sooo big I'm glad to have some company down and the small end of the spectrum.

Red face Hi!

Thanks everyone. I have a camping buddy who has volunteered to help me set up the weight distributing hitch-didn't need it with the Burro-and make a test drive with me prior to the first camping trip.
Grateful for good friends.
