I just purchased a 1993 Fleetwod Trailer and have no idea on how to light furnace. My first trailer so new to this and would appreciate any help. Thx in advance.

Welcome to the forum

Congrats on your purchase. Depends on what brand/model of furnace you have. In most RV’s all you have to do is make sure the propane is on and turn up the thermostat. It should have electronic ignition, and will light the propane a few seconds after the fan starts spinning.

There are still some old furnaces (no ducts or vents) that require you to remove the front grill and light a pilot light but I doubt that’s the case here. If you can post a pic of the thermostat it would help.

Pretty sure there is no pilot to light. I will try turning on propane and turning up thermostat. Your help is much appreciated.

Select heat, and turn up the thermostat. You should hear:
1) Fan turn on to start airflow
2) Click-click-click as automatic piezo lighter operates
3) Whoosh as propane catches.
Then heat will begin to arrive.
If you don't hear those three things, make a note of which ones you do, and someone can tell you where to look for issues.
