Ooops, got two different posts crossed up. That’ll teach me to respond while I’m replacing a floor. It’s too hot in this rv!!!

Thanks, guys. Very helpful
I am leaning towards the Haloview wireless unit but need to make sure it covers the hole in the rv where it says" pre-wired for camera" ( no bracket there)
Any bad reviews on the much more competitive priced Haloview?⁶

Techno RV.com has a good video on installing or replacing a camera…might be worth a watch for an overview.

My Furrion, (Negotiated as part of the deal) came with a plug in connector.
My trailer was also pre-wired and had the needed connection behind the plate.
I have heard of instances of the wire dropping down and needing to be fished out, so I would explore a bit before cutting the connector off the camera.
Good Luck!

Welcome
We've been on the road for 28 months & 40k miles in ours & know you'll be pleased with yours.
Be sure to get an EMS, we use a Hughs PowerWatchDog & others will recommend their favorite. We've seen it save us many times.
Again welcome

Electrical Management System. Will detect faults in a campground power source and shut down the power before your valuable electrical components fry. There are several brands and you have already heard one. We use a Progressive Industries 30A unit. You can generally get a sense of "surge protector" vs EMS by the price. Anything less than $300 is likely not going to help much if the campground has an open neutral or voltage gets too high or low. I am not a huge fan of campingworld.com but they seem to have good prices on Progressive Industries EMS units. We have a 30A trailer and use:

Progressive Industries EMS-PT30X 30 Amp EMS with Surge Protection

As has already been noted, a signature will tell folks immediately what year, make and model of camper you own and add the same for your tow vehicle. UserCP at the top/left of each page and make sure you save it. This will allow more context for answers to questions you pose in the future.
