2021 Avalanche AC fans

My new 2021 Avalanche 312RS has dual Coleman Mach air conditioners - 15k in the back and 13.5K in the bedroom. The fan in each unit works on low only regardless of switch position. We just got back from the mountains this afternoon and as long as we turned the AC on when the interior temp reached 70 degrees the rear unit (30 amp service) would keep the inside temp below 73 degrees with an outside temp of around 78 degrees. I'm getting nice cold air thru the vents, just low volume. Does anyone have any ideas? By the way, I pulled the roof units and cleaned & re-taped the plenums as well as sealing all the interior ceiling duct vents with foil tape and boy did they need it!

Just to clarify, even if the fan is set to High or Auto it only runs on Low? If so do you have the wiring diagrams for the AC's? You might try to check to make sure they were wired correctly.

True, no matter the switch position, auto or not, the fan only runs on low on both units. Keystone didn't include any AC info in the owners packet, so while it's cool in the morning I'll pull the AC covers off and get a model number so I can research the wiring diagrams.

You’re only on 30 amp power, that’s not enough to run both units. I’m not aware of a power management system in the Avs or the ACs, but manufacturers update/change things all the time. Just for S&Gs, try shutting one of the ACs off and see what happens with the other one.

I have the same trailer from 2020 except with the Residential Fridge.

I'm not sure that I could tell the difference between high and low on the fan as long as it was running without an amp meter. The units are that quiet when running and neither will blow a candle out..

Just for the record I do know that the fans in both do run on either high or low speed... because I do have an EMS which tattles on the amps being used on each leg..

And... you can indeed run both A/C on 30 amp service if you have two Micro-Air Easy Starts.. Not much else but it can be done..
