Installed an EMS tonight

I installed a Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C tonight. I installed the display above an outlet and ran the cable through the cutout through the wall to the main box. I still need to permanently mount the box but it is all wired up and works as it should.

You're going to like the Progressive, mine saved me at least twice from lightning strikes

About 2 hours, mostly due to working in the cramped space with limited clearances. About 1/2 hour to determine where to put the display. Originally wanted to mount the display just above the command center panel but discovered there was a stud blocking access in the wall. I will likely screw the main box to the floor since I don't trust the wall (where the junction box is) to hold the box with typical shock and vibration.

Well done.
If you ever buy a 50 amp 5er, you will have wished it was a 30 amp.
If it's even cool outside that wire is thick. But so worth it.

After reading about fires caused by loosened connections in breaker panels I decided to mount the EMS to the wall so that I had easy access to inspect and tighten the electrical connections periodically.
