Another A/C problem

Just returned from a great 4 days camping at 10,000 ft in the Uinta mountains.
Came home to 90 degree valley temps. Tried running the A/C so we could start unloading. The fan worked but the compressor did not kick in, so no cold air. The Coleman Mach, 13,500 btu worked fine prior to the trip as we used it during the day while loaded up. Looking for troubleshooting suggestions.
I have pulled the cover on the Tstat and everything looks good there. Have not been up on the roof yet.
Thanks

I had the same AC unit break on me. Same thing... fan runs... no cold air. The fix is actually somewhat complicated. I watched YouTube videos and researched online; and really unless you're an AC technician, or feel comfortable with electrical components, you'll have to have a service technician take a look. That is what I ended up doing and it was a control board issue, with an electrical component that was replaced too.

Thanks Brando for the input! I'm pretty comfortable playing around with my VOM. So, I got up on the roof and got to work.
OK problem solved!
Removed the A/C outer cover. No visible issues. Condenser tested OK. Removed inner shroud. Found the control module barely hanging by one bolt. Started to verify start voltage from the Tstat and found two broken 24ga control wires behind their connectors. Probably caused by the dangling control module flopping around while towing.
New copper and new connectors, then reattached the control module. #10 machine bolts and double nutted.
A/C tested 60 degrees at the discharge, 90 degrees ambient temp.
I think we're ok for the next trip. Going to Grand Teton to visit the moose.

Nice! Well I'm glad you fixed it, or found the problem. I'm not good with electricity so all I could do is unplug, plug in the control module to see if that reset anything (as seen online). It didn't. But the tech said the control board inside isn't working after his tests. So the whole module is getting replaced for free, due to warranty.

Glad to know your warranty is covering your repairs. Since school has started our camping season is now in full swing. I did not want to have our Cougar in the shop for over a month or more if there were something I could possibly fix. Got lUCKY this time
