New Member - '09 Laredo 29BHS

Good evening,

Purchased a used 2009 Keystone Laredo 29BHS this past weekend and are looking forward to our camping season. Located in Northern Ontario Canada, and yes, we still have snow in the woods.

I am towing this unit with my 2008 GMC Yukon Denali XL, with leveling hitch and sway bar. Truck worked hard pulling it 800km's this past weekend, but she made it. Averaged ~9-10mpg... not fuel friendly, but was being towed through endless large rolling hills.

Truck is equipped with a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller. I like it, but think it needs a little tweaking. I wish I could have been fortunate enough to have a true proportional unit that works off brake pressure.

Congrats on the trailer and I hope it gets warm enough for you to use it.

Hi there. We also have a 2009 298BH and the graphics have been failing for the past 2 yrs. Called Keystone and am sending them pics for any help they can offer. Dealership told me the graphics are no longer available. So that's a huge concern. Hope you're loving your Laredo!

I wouldn't count on Keystone offering you much in the way of help for your peeling/fading graphics. Essentially, they will probably tell you that your unit is well out of the 1 year warranty and that they are no longer responsible. You can certainly try but I'd be very surprised if they were of any assistance.

I think your dealership misinformed you about the availability of graphics. For replacements, try eBay or go here: www.trekwood.com
