I have to wonder, who and how was this filmed from 2 different angles at ground level not up where the cameras would be. In Oregon he would be looking at criminal charges. With those filed, some insurance company's have fine print about not covering criminal acts.

My little TT towing screw ups are small compared to that. Some Marine rented out a TT from our base services and tried to use an ATM machine. It got stuck under that banks canopy. The govt owned TT was in the local paper and then the guy tried turning it in without saying a word about the damaged AC unit.

Correction to title (although it was eye catching!)
In all fairness, the more appropriate title would be: Idiot visits DQ drive through and brings his living arrangements with him.

I once turned in/returned the 24 footer without the the radar cover. The highest item on the boat. It was a rough day in the river. I told the repair guy we do not call it the Columbia river boat wash for nothing. Yes a wave took it off. The ding bat Lt. investigated the loss/damage of state property. He thought my story was not possible and I drove it under something to rip it off. 2 crew confirmed my story.

Ummm
Really dumb people sometimes.
Obviously not his first encounter look at the previous damages.
Who in their right mind would try a drive through with an Rv.

At the end I notice a propane tank hit the ground. Now, there's a potential health hazard.
BTW, where in the world is the manager telling this idiot to stop?

It says "K9, STAY AWAY." Hopefully not German Shepherd Guy.
If you pause at the beginning of the video, it's clear that this guy's Cougar was already pretty crunchy before taking that "first" hit. And for the life of me, I can't see whatever it is he's contacting. He sure looks close, no argument, but I don't see where he touches.

There's a 6" steel post cemented into the ground about a foot out from the corner of the building. Painted brown and it doesn't even wiggle when he hits it repeatedly... It's similar to the 4' posts at the ends of many fuel islands, only the one on the corner of that building is about 7-8 feet tall.

What would be the temporary fix for this so you could finish your camping trip?
Eternal bond tape? ..looks like he managed to get out of the drive through….this is the aftermath…does look like it will be easier to change propane tanks now

Back in June we were in Twin Falls, Id, we drove down to Shoshone Falls if you've never been there the road is a pretty narrow winding road down to the parking area. So when we get ready to leave as we are driving up here comes some Rocket Scientist down pulling a Medium sized 5er there is this one curve where there is a rock wall on one side and those concrete barriers on the other side of the road this guy gets stuck coming down on this curve. No one could get out and we had to back back down the road. Everyone that was waiting to leave was watching this clown, He kept trying to do what the guy in the video was trying and after about 15 minutes just powered through damaging the crap outta the 5er. Proving yet again "You can't fix Stupid"

What was really interesting was his "If first you don't succeed, try, try again." attitude. Does anyone know what happened after the fact?

Not me. I try not to have people filming when I do truly dumb stuff.

A Ford, A Dairy Queen, A Montana.
Farmers says this happens all the time. For some reason RV’s pulling Montana’s end up in these situations more than any others. 🙄🤔

What a bone head - I can't imagine the thought process, or total lack thereof. I had some suggestion words with a design engineer with DK that is building some Travel Centers here. The typical layout for long trailer/18 wheeler fuel islands are diesel only. I reminded him that going racing we're 60' long and I'm in a 24K GCVW truck that is GAS, not diesel. Not everything pulling long is a diesel. I'm usually limited to the far edge pumps on the gas islands, and probably 60% of the new travel stops I can't use at all. Older is usually better. I did get kinda pinned in at the T/A in Santa Rosa and had to left turn out of the islands because an 18 wheeler pulled into the wrong part of the fuel center and got hung up trying to back out. Sorry little Honda if I scared you into backing way up.
> One tons and Sonics are not fun
Our DRW is 22' and 7510 lbs. No problem in most drive throughs. Sonic is easier than most. The tightest here is a Canes with curbing all around the loop by the menu board. I can do it, but it's "precise" to keep the left fender off the guard post. The other Canes has the same layout but no curbing, so I prefer to use that one.

If I had to guess I'd say he was probably thinking the insurance company would total it so he could get a new one...of course that isn't going to fly with them.
It amazes me what people think insurance will cover or replace. Inexpensive little junk is one thing but when the bill starts getting beyond the $1k range they scrutinize heavily.

With this being filmed I'm guessing the insurance may refuse to cover "stupid s##t"!
