outdoor shower

any one isolated outdoor shower from water system to prevent cold weather freezing?

Do you winterize? If so then just run antifreeeze through them.

I have, in the past, on other trailers, completely disconnected the outdoor shower and put caps/plugs on the Tee fittings where the outdoor shower branched off from the main plumbing runs.

I suppose you could also just install two valves in the supply line for the outdoor shower (inside the RV) but if you do that, make sure there's some provision for the water to drain from the point where you install the valves down to the actual faucet for the outdoor shower or otherwise, devise some method to winterize that part of the outdoor shower plumbing, from the valve to the faucet. Otherwise, the valves in the faucet will freeze, crack and "self destruct"..... No matter what you decide to do, I'd suggest leaving the outdoor shower faucet valves open so there's no "closed space" for water to freeze, expand and crack the faucet valve bodies...

we camp in cold weather below freezing would like water for toilet coffee pot blocking the lines sounds like good idea... yes we do winterize for longer no use time,,,
