Factory answer on structure repairs

I emailed Keystone several months ago asking about them replacing the front of my 2013 listed below. At my cost due to oil canning or delamination.
The response finally arrived yesterday. They will only do structure repairs on warranty covered items and referred me to contact a dealer.
In my case the front had developed waves or wrinkles across the front and a few dents. Something like a water leak can cause but there was no leakage. Likely like others, it was caused by parked facing the sun since new and the glue had not held the laminate together.
My hope was to get a factory replacement front knowing it would be in the 5,000 price range and keep it a few more years.
I took advantage of the higher values used RVs are currently worth and sold it to a dealer. He said I took about a 5,000 dollar hit on that cosmetic issue. So really if I did pay for the replacement it would add value, but only about what I put into it.

This is one reason why the aluminum sided (less expensive) RVs can be desirable. No delamination issues. There are lot of downsides to this type as well, but sometimes I just wonder... Sorry to hear about your loss in value, that hurts. I guess this is the best time to sell it however.

I've got a appointment on the 23rd to leave the 5er at the dealer for two days for them to go over all the warranty issues we have and get authorizations and parts to do the work. I like that the dealer is doing it this way, rather than leaving the 5er there for who knows how long. At least this way I can still use it until they are ready to do the repairs. Some are small things but, there is some delamination going on on the back panel. I first noticed it in July while heading from Wyoming to South Dakota. It was about 95 degrees and noticed it when we stopped at a rest area.
