Question Bullet 261RBS Bedroom TV Mount

The bedroom TV mount in our new camper is really odd. It is up high, in a corner. The sticker/decal is on the wall, close to a window (with a protruding valance). The other wall has a sliding door that comes almost all the way back to the corner.

We are at a loss as to how to mount a TV in that spot and not interfere with either the window or the sliding door.

Like others have said, I don't want to damage the camper. Our salesman told us we could put a 32" TV in there. Clearly that won't work.

A 24" might fit across the corner, or in front of the window.

Does anyone else have this same unit? And have you put a TV in the bedroom?

Thanks, Diane

Use an articulating mount where the TV can be pulled out and turned in the direction needed. You will need to be able to fix the mount from extending while traveling so the weight of TV & mount don't cause the mounting to fail. You may find there is no solid (such as a stud) to mount as you wish so perhaps put a nice piece of finished wood up to mount the TV mount to where you can hit the studs with your anchoring screws.

You can try fitting a corner-friendly mount. Place it so that the rear hinge is in that corner, but the TV extends out to the right. Hopefully, that will give you enough room to tie the slider open for traveling without hitting the bracket. Only thing is, you will need to tie the TV back to travel, and whether that means pinching the door with it or having it ride the other wall (paying attention to the leverage problem with a secure supporting strap) is indeterminate without test-fitting the actual unit. (Monoprice offers a 30-day money-back return.)
