Hello From Montreal!

Hi All!

Very happy to be here!

Currently in a POP-UP and need an upgrade BAAAADLY!!! We are almost always 2 families for a total of 7 when we camp and was fun when the kids were small! But at 10, 11 and 12, we're running out of space fast!!

Been shopping around for about a year now and have narrowed it down to 2 or 3 Keystone models. Ready to make the move in the Spring of 2012. Hoping this forum with provide some good advise and guidence.

Of course also want to ensure appropriate match for TT. Can you advise which would be the best forum for me to ask?

Many thanks!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds to me as if you are doing your homework. That is a great start and can also be a lot of fun. Take the family to a dealer or a show and ignore the sales people .... sit in the different models as if you owned it to see how everyone fits and listen to all of their input. Sometimes even the kids can come up with some good pros and cons. If you are looking for info on a TT than you should get the best advise posting under the Travel Trailer section of the forum. Good luck with your decision and keep us posted on your progress, Hank

Welcome, ZEB. You said you were ready for the "plunge" in the spring of 2012. If you're that serious, shop around now, you will find pretty much the same trailers on dealer lots and currently they may very well be concerned with the inventory sitting on their "interest dollar" over the winter when NOBODY buys an RV. We bought last October and got nearly 40% off the MSRP. The same trailer this spring was listed at retail and they were advertising it for $1500 off. A friend bargained for nearly a month and got them down to 10% off. Just a suggestion, but double check the "deals" available now vs in the spring.

Thanks All for the Welcome!

I hear ya JRTJH about taking the plundge now in the fall rather than the Spring. I actually have a really good deal going on with my local dealer on the Passport 2910BH with WD + Sway + Mags however it would be an order for April 2012 pick-up. None in stock which means we haven't been able to see one in person, just on pics and videos or similar floorplans in other makes.

Like Hankpage said, the family and I need to lie in the beds, sofa, table, kick the tires...short of actually taking a shower in it, before we make the final decision. As you can see, we usually keep our gear a long time so making the right choice is really important to us....hense I joined this forum!!

We figure at the risk of paying a little more, we are better all off going to the Montreal RV show in March to make sure we are all comfortable with our choice. In the meantime I am picking up some good tidbits of info here in the forum..things I would have never thought of or anticipated with a TT.

Cheers!
