Fresh Water holding

I was sitting at our camper the other day and noticed water dripping. I went around to tight the city water connection and found the water was coming from the neck of the fresh water fill cap. I have never put water in that tank. The unit is a 2014 Keystone Sydney 340fbh. I have since drained the fresh water tank but have not been back to check anything. Could city water be getting into the holding tank?

Thanks

Hi. I have same model Sydney but a 2013. You could have a bad check valve in the water pump allowing city water to flow backward through pump and into tank.

Do you know where the pump is located?

To left of fire place, open cabinet. Remove two screws and false panel on bottom.

Thanks. My dealer, Pontiac RV, sent me a replacement pump. I'm going to install it this weekend.
