Crimped wire connectors

While doing a battery modification on our Fuzion, I noticed the crimped connectors on the battery ground cable were loose. Not to the point of coming apart, yet. Recrimped and soldered the terminals and checked the rest of the wires in the compartment. Just a heads up to keep your eyes open and inspect your RVs workings occasionally.

Good point, matter of fact when I brought home my previous popup from the dealer 7 years back, I decided to do a few mods to the electrical.

I found numerous issues, loose neutral at the converter (just sitting in the lug! never tightened), 2 out of the 2 receptacles were "pinch wired" which is common in rv's, but these were not completely pushed in. The jbox where the 30a plug meets the #10 feed wire to the converter had one hot wire just floating in the box where the wire nut wasn't securely screwed on and had fallen off. Also, the ground fault receptacle was bad. (I missed that one on PDI, because I just never thought to check it. ) Was a fire waiting to happen for sure, and took it upon myself to fix it, I didn't trust the techs at the dealer to repair something that I did for a living everyday.
