Seam tape or paneling tape coming apart

Hello I’m not sure what it’s called but the tape that’s hiding my interior wall master bedroom seam tape is coming apart. I have a 2019 keystone hideout 28bhswe and it’s about 3ft tall and 1”-1.25” wide. Where can I get replacement for this since keystone doesn’t carry it anymore. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to carefully pull that tape off the wall, clean it up, put some adhesive or contact cement on it and reapply it. If it's wrinkled and creased, wax paper and an iron on low will get it smooth and flat again.

You "MIGHT" contact Trekwood.com to see if they have the tape available, but I'd guess it'll cost more than you want to pay.

The venetian blinds are available at Camping World or from any RV parts department. They'll cost you about $100 per window... You can buy replacements at WalMart for $5.88 each, but you'll probably have to adjust the length to fit the window properly. Or, you could install pull down roller shades that will provide better privacy and block the light more efficiently, if you're a "late sleeper".....

I believe this is the link to your seam tape: https://www.trekwood.com/products/12...-1-Sable-Putty Note that it's listed at $0.33/foot. VERIFY the price before ordering. They may well only sell it in 1000 foot rolls which is $330 plus shipping and handling.... MAKE SURE WHAT YOU'RE ORDERING FROM TREKWOOD AND WHAT SHIPPING WILL BE !!!!!

If Trekwood has some on hand, they will usually sell you what you need. If they have to special order a roll, they won't order it unless you buy the entire roll. So, if they have some, you're golden. If they don't, you're stuck with buying the minimum order, which is probably the entire roll....

I think if you're careful, you won't need to buy any tape. It looks like what's on your wall can be removed and reused.

I think I’ll try to take it off and see if I can get it done

Use a hair dryer on low temp to help soften the adhesive and it'll pull off much better. GO SLOW !!!!!

Anyone tried to use a heat gun to smooth it out? I was going to try when I get the rv back at my house next week.

A heat gun (paint stripper gun) may be far too hot for the vinyl seam tape. If you use one, BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN OR MELT THE TAPE !!!

Usually, a hair dryer on LOW is all you need to soften the tape and loosen the adhesive.
