Our previous 5er, also our first, bringing it home I was surprised at the amount of chucking I had. Installed the Teflon disc on the recommendation of a friend and it became smooth. On our current Monty that has a Morryde pin box I started out with the disc and no chucking. I would guess you replace it when it's worn so thin it starts chucking again, that is if you own your trailer that long.

I would suggest you try the disc first and see what that does. You may be good to go for less than $10. If you still have chucking then to on to the more expensive solutions.
