Being down south, winterizing might not be as critical as if you were in more northern climes. I can tell you what I do and that may be a bit overkill for your purposes but for sure you won't freeze anything.
Drain all your tanks including your hot water tank. Open your low point drains and let any water run out of those. Now close everything up.
If you have an air compressor, set it to 40 lbs and attach it to your city water input. With the compressor running, open your faucets one at a time, both hot and cold. This will effectively blow any water out of the lines. Then use the compressor to blow out your black tank sprayer.
I then remove and empty the P traps or sometimes just pour RV antifreeze down the drains. Also pour the RV antifreeze in the toilet. Just to be sure everything is good, you could use your fresh water pump to pump RV antifreeze through the lines to protect the pump as well as lines and faucets. This last part may be a bit of overkill for your purposes.
I always remove the batteries and store them in the garage on a trickle charger. Once the Cougar is "winterized" I don't open the door again until spring to prep for next season. I would not consider leaving power hooked up or the propane on. JMHO but bad things can happen when heaters and power are left on and unattended.
