How to install second AC unit

We have a 2018 Cougar 310RLS. It appears that one A/C unit is insufficient.

I'm a pretty handy DIYer, as long as I can understand the project and remove most apprehension by understanding the scope of work. As such, I wonder if I might find some guidance here in connection with this project.

Questions: (For any that may know the answers)

Is the pre-wired A/C provision in the front bedroom designed to be ducted air, or just to be blown from the unit straight into the room?

One wall has a sticker to designate where the thermostat wiring is found. (Back wall of bathroom) How do I determine exact location of wiring? Is a small hole enough to pull the wires through the wall?

Any other tips? Anyone know of a how to video? (I found some on YouTube, but so far not a complete instructional)

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

If you take off the trim ring, you can determine what’s up there and if it’s ducted. If you remove a light switch you might be able to fish the thermostat wiring, and you can mount it anywhere on that wall.

If your unit has “in command” it’s a little different.
