New member but temporary ...

I just bought a 2006 Keystone Cougar 295EFS yesterday. It will be just for my wife and I, along with our four dogs (45 to 60 lbs each) -- yikes.

We bought our first RV in 1985, a 26' Class C Jamboree. Traded it in in 1996 for a 29' Southwind Storm Class A (no slideouts, last year owned 2016).

We are at the point now that while we loved the RV lifestyle while we owned our motorhomes, with four dogs it has become more difficult to travel in the RV and now we travel by car or air and leave the dogs home with the house sitter.

However, we are building a new house on 10+ acres and will be living on site for several months (likely 5 to 7 months) while construction finishes. Intentions at this point is to sell the fifth wheel when construction is complete, but perhaps this could change.

Once you decide to sell the 5th wheel it won't be able to be advertised as "no pets" or "pet free"! But those rvers that don't have a pet/pets are definitely the minority.
