Refrigerator Question

2008 Montana, Dometic model DM2862 Refrigerator Question
The box where the AC power is plugged in there is a red button marked 20A-125 volts. What is it for? Mine was popped out. What should the position of the button be pushed in or pushed out?

Any help greatly appreciated.

A shot in the dark but kind of sounds like a 20amp GFI. If so it should be pushed in. Typical shore power like your house AC 125 volt. So with it out does your fridge still run without propane, just electricity? Push it in to see if it still runs without propane, just electricity.

RV refrigerators are required to be plugged into a GFI circuit. Usually the plug in the compartment is wired into the GFI plug in the bathroom or kitchen. Sounds like yours might have its own dedicated circuit.
