Last Day

After 24 years, 9 moths, and 11 days of serving in the Air Force, I have finally reached my last day. At 1630 today I will take the uniform off for good...I'll keep my ABUs, the sage green color makes them good for hunting in NM

Congratulations! And THANK YOU for your service. They didn't place you in the IRR did they? My dad got called back up 6 months before his was due to expire back in the 1970's.

Brent and Nicki, thank you both for the last 25 years. Not only for your service, but for your significant other at home during some of this "taking care of the home front." The life of a spouse of a service-person isn't all peaches and cream. Brenda and I are both Marine Corps veterans and speak from experience. Our hats are off to you.....

Thanks all. As for Nicki, she is actually serving as well, so we are both military spouses. Nicki is retiring as well, she still has 12 days of work left

Brent and Nicki:

for your service and congrats on your retirement. I just retired (again) from aviation a few weeks ago, and have yet to require an intervention. So far, so good.

Retirement is a wonderful thing, and I hope your's is as equally enjoyable.

Thank you for your service You've got to wait 12 days for the wife to retire but you'll be able to spend that prepping for your trips. Have a great time - and it IS going to be fun!

Thanks to all! We are looking forward to it. We bought our Alpine just for the occasion, definitely plan to get a lot of use out of it. Still dealing with a couple crumb snatchers at home, well they've grown into wallet emptiers, but once they're out of the house the fun/travels will really begin!

Congrats!
Retirement means you wake up and do what YOU want, not what the boss wants..... But it looks like you may have a new boss in 12 days, keep in mind that honey dew is a melon, not a list of tasks

bsmith0404, Howdy;

I reference to the above ^^^,
should the melon turn into a list the best
Honey-do List is one that reads something like this;

1. Honey-do _______________ (fill in the blank)

2. Honey-do _______________ (fill in blank)

3. Honey-does Honey

4. Honey-do _______________ Fill in blank)

You get the idea. any combination of none honeys can be done
but after every 2ed Honey gets honeyed..., .
