Back Wall Not Tight To Floor

I have a 'new to me' 2007 310SRX. It is a toy-hauler, which makes the problem easy to see, but I'm not sure that it is a toy-hauler only problem. The back of the 5th-wheel is not tight to the floor, leaving a 1/2 inch wide gap I can see daylight through. There appears to be two bolts that line up with the frame, just below floor level that are loose or stripped. The is no way to tighten them because the heads are behind the rear fiberglass sheeting and under the floor.

Has anyone else encountered this problem. Does anyone know how the back wall is built and any ideas of what I can grab on to from the cargo area or underneath the floor to pull it back together. It does not appear there is anything solid to run bolts through from the outside to the inside. I hate to think the only fix is to remove the outside skin.

The only thing I can think of is 3 or 4 inch alimum angle dimond plate screwed to floor and wall. Should pull wall back to normal. Mine came that way.

I should have mentioned the 310SRX is a side loader, so I think the back wall is attached the same as non-toy haulers. I am afraid that if I added a piece of aluminum angle, I would have to use bolts clear to the outside with large washers on both sides. There just doesn't seem to be anything solid in the wall to screw into. At the inside floor level I think that all I will find is paneling, insulation and skin. I was hoping someone knew of a aluminum or wood frame located near or below floor level.

I would try to locate a "TRUSTED" RV technician and ask them to give you some advice on how best to attempt repair. Obviously the floor and back wall should not be separated such that you can "see light" between them. How best to repair it may well include much more than simply pulling the parts together and putting some bolts to keep things in place.

There is an aluminum framework in the walls that should be bolted to the chassis, outriggers (at the side walls) and to the crossmembers (at the rear wall). If this framework for the walls is not no longer properly attached, simply bolting the floor and rear wall together may well lead to further damage in the area.

Some expert structural inspection and advice would definitely be in order.
