this is really heat?

We own a 31.8 fifth wheel cougar and the heat is awful. It barely warms the floor vents. Is this normal or something just not working correcgly. I know it isn't going to heat like a wood stove in my home but when the weather gets cold for winter, and we stay in the RV its not going to be good. Any help would be appreciated. Happy Camping

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Maybe one of your heat ducts are lose and you are not getting full heat to your floor vents.

We have a 310 fuzion and last year up in GA it was in the low teens a few night and high in the days around 40s ours worked great. Maybe even better then the AC in the summer.

Good luck on fixing it.

Agree with Tileman - if you do a forum search, you will find several posts where members have found disconnected, kinked or crushed flexible ducting.
Let us know how you do.

Ddchris -

Yes, do a search on some of my past posts. You will find text and pictures of crushed intertwined ducts. The kitchen vent duct was crushed by the shore power line and had two horseshoe bends. The rear heat ducts were crushed between the coroplast and the fresh water tank. Once I fixed this, and insulated the underbelly, it was ready for the cold!
