Is this a new condition? If so, what has recently changed or been done that might have affected the plumbing?

If it's not a new condition, how long has it been going on?

Does this affect just the cold water, just the hot water, or both?

In all fairness to those of us who might be able to offer some ideas, a little more information from you about the situation would be most helpful.

Richard55, Howdy;

Did you just buy it?? Contact seller to see what they may have done.
Or is this why they sold it???

I hooked it up to the water to get it ready for this weekend and it worked good with the normal air comming out and all that stuff and then I went around checking all the fausets, then when I came back it was off. All the other faucets work great and the kitchen like I said only works with the pump

This is not a blog. Blogs are essays by a single person read by others. This is a forum with multiple participants.

I'll ask again: Hot or cold or both?

I find this very odd since all the fixtures are fed from the same supply. The only thing that separates city water and FW tank is the check valve in the water pump. I hope someone has a solution for you. Please be sure to let us know of your progress.

I just wondering if this was the first time and you were de winterizing maybe there is still air in the lines. Maybe try turn all other faucet off leave kitchen on hooked up to city water with pump off. If that doesn't work I don't know what to tell you.

Agree. Generally the city water connects to the water system after the pump so that if the pump is moving water out to the faucets, then the city water should do the same. Pressure is pressure, regardless of whether it is generated by the pump or city water.

On my Cougar and on every other RV I've ever seen or owned, the city water connects to the plumbing system downstream from the pump. So it stands to reason that if the pump is moving water then city water should be doing so as well. This is a head scratcher.

I thought about that possibility too, but if the city water is moving water to all other faucets and the toilet OK, and the pump is moving water to all faucets and the toilet OK, the air in the lines should be a non-issue.

I also considered a kinked line, but unless that water system has some unusual connections or modifications, the conclusion is the same as air in the lines.

One other thought does occur. For the OP, is the water heater bypass properly switched so that water gets into the tank and heated? I don't think that should make a difference, but it's worth ruling out.

This is one of those challenges that really requires some hands-on evaluation by someone who is really familiar with RV water systems. I am very certain that the cause is something very simple, but from the symptoms reported by the OP, it is a puzzler.

Richard55, Howdy;

Did you buy this from an owner or a RV Dealer?
A dealer might (for good Cust. Serv. Rep.), might help
you get it straightened out.
I'd take it in for a thorough check anyway. Did that when
I bought my TT from a back yard. Had a dealer check it out
Right to Left, Front to Back, and Top to bottom. They found
2 or 3 minor things, helped me understand the systems and
gave me a head's up as to what to keep an eye on. Cost me
a few C-notes, but as it was going to be HOME, it was well
worth it. The only REAL problem I ever had with it was when
the temps. dropped to -40*F one night ..... but that's another
tale for another time.
When you take it in talk with the Tech. make friends with them.
Ask a lot of questions about everything in a non-PITA (Pain In The A**),
way. You'll find it's the best part of the investment.

I'm going to bet that there's a winterizing bypass valve still flipped in the bypass mode ... doesn't explain why "just the kitchen faucet" is the only one affected, but .... maybe more to the story here?

Waiting to hear back from the OP on the fix.

This has the makings of a bad kitchen faucet, especially if both hot and cold do not work at that faucet only. You can pretty much eliminate the flexible hoses that feed it collapsing because the probability of both being bad is pretty remote. I've had kitchen faucets clog and fail from sediment that broke loose doing plumbing repairs. Also, some types of faucets use a diverter or flapper type system to adjust the hot/cold mix and that could have also failed.

Bob,
That's what I thought at first but the OP says it works when using the pump from the FW tank.

I thought about that too, but it's possible that the pressure from the city water supply is stronger than the pump and strong enough to cause the problem.

I fixed it!!!!!!

I fixed the problem everyone. I didn't make it to the Dealership because of the storms here so I did a little troubleshooting. I took the faucet loose. Oh by the way it is one of those fancy one handle pull out and use kind. I had pressure at the supply (Hot/Cold) I took the the line off from the Base of the faucet head thinking there was a restrictor (like one of you suggested) nothing. Then I took off the end of the long supply line to the faucet head(the one that has a weight on it for return to the holder) and in the end of that line is a tiny check valve/restrictor that I could not blow through. Took it out hooked everthing back together and IT WORKS
