Water in my new Alpine

Hi All,

Traded in my 24’ TT for a 2013 Alpine 3600RS a few weeks ago while in Florida and drove it home to Maine. The day before arriving home drove through some fairly heavy rain. The coach listed a bit to one side while backing in (normal for my driveway) and I saw water run out where the belly panels attach. Called Keystone and dealer and was counseled to drill a few small holes in belly panels to let water drain out as it can’t be seen by local dealer for a few days. Got about 3 gallons out when dripping stopped. There are no signs of any water intrusion, damage, etc. inside the coach whatsoever. I’ll see what the dealer discovers but wanted to see if anyone here has experienced this and most importantly what potential effect might this have on the integrity of the coach. I’m not sure how concerned I should be as I’m not knowledgeable regarding the construction between the belly panels and the subfloor. I appreciate any info and help.

Is there a chance the water could have been thrown up from the wheels and got in somehow? Just a thought.

Composit wood panels could be damaged by water if not exterior grade. Important to get it dry quickly so mold doesn't get started.

Yes I'm quite certain that is where the water came from. My initial conversation w/ Keystone didn't yield any info as to the constuction of the unit between the belly panels and the subfloor. I know the tanks, plumbing and block insulation are up there but is the subfloor sealed off? Would love to talk to someone who knows. And yes, mold is one of my concerns.
