FINALLY, we have our Cougar 333mks
After rescheduling several times due to snow storms, we finally picked up our Cougar 333mks yesterday (and also had our Reese 16k hitch installed). Everything looked great (they also go through their own PDI before the customer comes for the walkthrough). They also installed some L brackets on the bed so that we don't have to deal with the issue of it pulling away from the slide wall, which I've read about several people having problems with.
It towed quite a bit nicer than our 29' Sprinter TT. And it took only one readjustment to back it into its parking spot. Now we're just waiting for the snow to melt and May 16th to come so we can go camping.
Also we made it home (100+ miles) with fuel mileage of 11 mpg on our not yet broken in 2012 Dodge diesel.

So awesome. Glad they reenforced the bed for you as that happened to me on our MV. Yes, backing that bad boy is very easy especially if you can do it with the driver's side on the inside of where you're backing. Happy for you to the 333MKS fam!!!!

The bed is only attached to the slide wall with 3 or 4 screws. So there have been problems with the bed starting to pull away from the wall.
These are some comments I found online regarding the bed:
"I noticed mine the first time when the slide seemed to be wobbling when going in and out. then the bed would not go out with the slide on one side. Had to push it out. took it apart and noticed the screws had pulled out and were pulling out on the other side."
"I did use L brackets from the slide frame to the bed rails cutting away the carpet for solid installation. Also the screws on the rollers at the foot end of the bed kept bending so I installed a second roller each side."
"I first noticed when the slide went out, but, the bed didn't.
I don't have pictures and it is a right royal PITA to get to them to take some, but... I used 1 1/2" "L" brackets and 5/8" wood screws to attach the bed's 2x bracing and 1/2" wood screws, to be safe, to attach to the plywood decking that forms the slide's base (so they wouldn't penetrate the plywood base). I used 4 on each side, and as Ron said, I cut the carpeting away (slots for the "L" bracket's base) so that there was direct wood contact. Rock solid now. Not real sure how Keystone figured that a few (3 if I remember correctly, maybe four) drywall thread screws through that Luan would drag a queen sized bed and frame back and forth without pulling out."

this how it looked under the plywood bed frame before I fixed the bed pulling away from the wall & the wobble.
the fix for this bed problem. I added some photos to my album on here, not in any order. but you can see the problem and the fix.

My 318SAB bed was just repaired with supports on the wall and hinges so when the slide goes out when it bends a little the bed moves with it they also replaced the wheels and supported them with bigger blocks. I had them put plastic runners on the floor so the wheels have something hard to roll on.I was told that this is a common problem.

My dh isn't the most graceful person, so I told him he can have the nightstand so he's not tripping on the step, which I know he will do. lol

FINALLY, we have our Cougar 333mks
We take delivery on our Cougar 333mks next week! I am sure you are enjoying yours. I have a questions, is their storage under the bed? I cannot remember.
I cannot wait to set up the cupboards and closets!

There is not storage under the bed due to the way they built the slide.

The x-chocks, king pin lock, and LED bulbs that I ordered for the camper all arrived today. Now I just need to wait for the 14" of snow to melt so I can putz around with the camper again. lol

Today I went in to work for some OT. I left the house around 6am and it was near 60 degrees. Got home and it was around 90. Oh I'm sorry, did you say snow??
