Denali Highway

July 31 and August 01, 2013 I traveled east to west pulling 39.5' of Raptor with a SRW one ton Chevy diesel. No flats but a LOT of sub 25 mph stretches. Rarely hit 35mph on the dirt sections and not a lot of level spots for a rig of that size. If I ever do it again, I'll use your rig and it's got to be shorter.

You stop at Alpine Lodge...Jennifer and Claude have a decent place with room to park and the gravel pits just to their east are pretty decent with some great 4 wheeling and fishing close by. Good news on the zero flats.

Nope, had mother in law with, no cell coverage and an in law checked in to hospital so we hurried through as fast as we could. Hospital was a false alarm afterall so we did not get to enjoy that section. Once is enough with the 40' fifth wheel...I'll downsize next time or just use a tent (like 2003).

I'll be up the Haul Road later this month but only with truck...good luck to you BBw/BT...
