Heater

I have a 2020 29 rks 5th wheel with I Command system. Going to be taking a trip and may need to use the heat. Got to looking this morning and realized I don’t know how to turn the heat on. LOL.

I did see in the I command system for the rear ac I can change to heat and set the temp. Is all I need to do is turn on the LP gas set to heat and set temp? This is what I am thinking.

Pretty much thats it. Make sure the propane is on and the cylinders have propane in them. Then if you have a multi zone thermostat, use the zone to turn on the "FURNACE". set the temp and enjoy

Yep, one thing that is confusing for some to start with is the 2 AC/ 2 zones. With ACs you have a multiple zones and can set the temps differently for each one. With the furnace, you have one zone and one temp setting. You will most likely find that getting a comfortable temp through the RV is more difficult. Since heat registers typically are not the adjustable type, you may find the bedroom gets uncomfortably warm when the living room is just right. I’ve actually had my bedroom AC set to auto so when the furnace was trying to get the living room up to temp and keep my kids from freezing at night, my bedroom AC was kicking on to keep me from sweating bullets. Adjustable heat vents make a huge difference. Of course, each floor plan is different so finding a good balance for yours may be completely different than mine.
