Underbelly Material??

So my RV has had the black tank replaced by a mobile tech a year ago. I just recently took black tank valve off fix since it wasn't closing all the way. To do so I had to access thru the underbelly and since someone had already been in there before they just taped up where they cut the plastic undernelly sheets. So in turn have attempted twice to tape it up with the same tape made foe RV's however because of the precious taping that was done I can't get mine to stick. It keeps coming off. So I think I need to just replace the plastic sheets they cut can someone lead me to what kinda of material this is or where to buy some?

Officially it is corrugated plastic but often goes by the brand name of Coroplast. Another option to patch the seams might be FlexMend.

Does it not stick because you are taping over it or the adhesive material left on the underbelly? Don't tape over the old, pull it off. If there is adhesive residue, clean it off then apply the new tape to clean underbelly material.

I noticed that the underbelly isn't insulated, for some reason I thought they told me it was when I bought it. Does this material provide insulation as well?

The R-value is .078 per mm of material thickness, so......no. But the floor itself is a laminated system and is insulated. The space between the coroplast and the floor is not insulated, but does have a hose ducted from the furnace into the space to keep it above ambient outdoor temp in cooler weather. It is a three season set-up, not a polar package (which is fully insulated with tank heaters and other upgrades)

I've held cutouts in place with zip ties.

Clean the adhesive off, and after taping try using a hair dryer on the scrim tape.

Underbelly material

Best solvent to clean old tape residue is xylene.
