Hello from Nebraska, the where's the beef state.

New to this forum. Been camping for a while. Have a stupid question.... our camper has a black 2 tank or at least a read out on our control panel. What exactly is it? A second black tank? It always reads empty. We only have one bathroom. If the first black gets full does it go to the second. I know.... like I said It's a stupid question. Manual says nothing about it (or at least what I can find). Thanks Michelle

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC
You should post the year, make and model of your unit.
Lots of help on this forum.

Not knowing the year and model it's hard to say, but there may be only one and the switch is "decorative". My 2015 Bullet 220RBI had a monitor switch for a second gray tank, but only had one. The all-in-one "command centers" are generic. They seem to use whichever one they have that has everything you need and may, or may not, have things you don't.

Only one tank with one extra light in the monitor panel. I have a different trailer but the same thing: 1 tank. 2 lights.

Use this link https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/specs...vel-trailer-t5 and scroll down to the Keystone section. Select the appropriate Cougar group (I think there are 4) and then the year and model. It will give you the floorplan and more specs than the manufacturer's web site, including the number of tanks and the capacity of each.

For example, the 2015 Bullet 220RBI is here:

https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2015-...220rbi-tr22423

And here is the tank info:

Holding Tanks

Number Of Fresh Water Holding Tanks

1

Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity

43 gal.

Number Of Gray Water Holding Tanks

1

Total Gray Water Tank Capacity

30 gal.

Number Of Black Water Holding Tanks

1

Total Black Water Tank Capacity

30 gal.

Welcome from SC! The panels are generic and used in all. My unit only has 1 black tank and buttons for 2. As stated, if you have 2 toilets, you probably have 2 black tanks, if 1 toilet, just ignore the sensor for black 2 most likely.
