Air Conditioner Not Blowing Cold Air

My sister and brother in law are about to leave for a camping trip. Their AC isn't blowing cold air and but it is blowing air. They called heir dealership where they purchased their trailer new and they told them they didn't work on them, they just replaced them. Cost was $1100 to replace the AC and it's a Coleman, trailer is a Jayco pop up.

She is clueless and I'm just trying to help her out. Any ideas or suggestions of what the problem is? I told her I'd help replace it and it's not too hard. I installed an AC in an enclosed trailer and did everything with a friend helping so figured it wouldn't be hard to replace an existing unit.

She just told me the last time they used it it accumulated ice and it's currently blowing the fuse if put on high.

I just had a second Coleman installed last week. A 13.5k non ducted on the master bedroom. Probably the same thing that pop-up has. Total cost was $835. $1100 seems like a stretch. She doesn't have to take it to an RV dealer to get it checked out. Any A/C guy can do that, especially on a pop-up that is all folded up.

Coleman rooftop A/C units are nowhere near $1100 (even with a "fair" amount added for installation). Essentially, it's a "remove 4 bolts, lift it off and slip the new one into the same hole" type of exchange.

Here's one Coleman 13.5K BTU rooftop unit (you'd use your original inside components) for $459. No need to pay a dealership "more than double" for the same thing.....

I'd do some more "checking around town" before I dropped $1100 for a replacement A/C.

Thanks, that's what I told them also. PPL has them for about the same price and not that far from where my brother in law works. I told them I'd help install it. No way I'd pay $1100 for a new AC. I bet it wouldn't take the dealership an hour either, probably much less. They've had nothing but trouble with their trailer and the pop ups are ridiculously priced I think for what you get. They bought it new from the dealer that quoted them $1100 and it's only about 3 or 4 years old and stored inside their garage. Thanks for the advice.

Isn't there a real possibility that it may be a minor fix and recharge? I think I'd call a mobile A/c repair to come out and check it out. Might be worth the price to see if there is a repair.

They are sealed units, meaning there's no ports to hook up a manifold.
