New to Board, Now New to Keystone
Hey all,
Just joined the board, but I've been a Keystone owner since 2007. I had a 2008 Springdale 266RL and just upgraded earlier this year to the 2015 Bullet Premier 30RIPR. We LOVE our new trailer and have already had it out about 6 times in the last couple months. We'll be taking a trip from FL to MD for 3 weeks at the end of this month, so it'll be our first true road trip with our new rig vs. the small weekend trips we've been doing around FL.
I look forward to interacting with everyone and sharing stories and advice.

Thanks! I just realized I had a typo in my thread title. that should say NOT new to Keystone instead of NOW.
I must've just been so darn excited to here that I didn't even preview.

It looks a little more proportionate here:
It tows it pretty well. It's an Ultra Light, so while its 4 ft longer than our last trailer, its about the same weight....plus this one has 2 slides vs one on the old one. We're driving up to MD from FL in 2 weeks, so that'll be the first REAL long test. We've had it since February and have taken about 5 trips with it so far and have had no issues whatsoever. I had a 2002 Tahoe with my old 26' Springdale and we took that all over the country without a problem. I do feel the wind a little more in this one, but otherwise all is well.

It's 30 feet of beauty (34 if you count hitch to bumper). We LOVE it!

Congrats on the new rig! Out of curiosity, what are your transmission temps while towing that new beauty?

I use to tow mine with a 150 extended cab. It was taxed but did ok. According to the brochure, this is the same length as mine, 35'4" and weighs in at 8,200 which is 200 pounds more than mine. I think the Tahoe is shorter than what I had so I am sure that has some effect, in the wind anyway. Hope all continues to go well for you, enjoy, it is a beautiful rig.

We haven't towed it more than 150 miles one direction so far, but I haven't seen it get much over 200 at any point.
