McGeorges RV service dept

So my experience with McGeorge's sales department has been outstanding, very nice people and helpful. My issue is everyone I talked to about them, said the service is horrible. Some waited long as 3 months before they got their rig back. Has things changed or is service still an issue with them? Thank you for the help!

I had issue with sales and never went back but smart enough to know it was the person selling not the dealer...I know several who bought there and my co-worker had his Redwood there for 40 days for warranty work only to have it fail as soon as he drove it back home and then back for another 10 days. That is all I can offer from knowledge I am aware of.

I recently bought from them. The sales process was great and I had a few minor issues so I took it back a few weeks ago. Picked it up last week and some things were fixed, but my backup camera still doesn't work right (they r ordering me a new receiver). They also didn't torque my sidewinder pinbox like I asked (they installed it when I bought it and after 50 miles all the bolts were finger loose...not good). Overall, they got me in very quick and they seem to have their act together but it is a big operation and I think sometimes things fall through the cracks a bit. Overall, I am satisfied though

when I had my 2014 Heartland Elkridge 37ultimate, they had so much warranty work to do, they had it from just after Thanksgiving till mid March, and it still wasn't done. I had to bring it back again. What a POS that rig was, as soon as the warranty ran out I got rid of it and went back to a Keystone product.

Issues were that slides had to be removed to fix poorly aligned slides tearing flooring up. Plumbing issues, electrical issues....the list goes on.....

On my 2015 Fuzion I Brought it back for a few issues and got it back the same day.

I guess it all depends on HOW MUCH work needs to be done.

Thanks for all the input. I have been talking to a dealer in Ohio (Holman) and they seem to be 5k lower then McGeorges, either way I am coming from Hagerstown so its 3 hours south or 4.5 hours west. I wonder if I can have a keystone dealer by my house do the work if needed? Again thanks everyone.

Beckleys

If you are in Hagerstown, then Beckley's should be only about 30mins or less, give them a call, that's where we purchased our Keystone.

Are you looking at a 2015 or 2016? I got my 2015 there and they beat the Ohio dealers and Danville by a good amount. I was honestly shocked at the price we got at mcgeorge

I have had nothing but good experiences with them. Have not had to go in for much in the way of service but they were good people to deal with. My salesman, Bo Hurst, was great.

Beckley does not carry Fuzion toy haulers and that's what I want. I would love it if they had them bc they are 7 miles from my house. When I looked at the raptors there, they were slightly more expensive, but I didn't haggle yet. Thanks for the help. I might give them a shot, if they can match or come close to price with Ohio on a 16.

Bought from them last year. They were very sophisticated on the sales side. No issues there. My impression on dealing with the service side is that is that's where they aren't very sophisticated. Mine was there for over three months following a break-in. They struggled with getting so parts in on time to meet the work schedule, and seemed to only order for one repair at a time. They try to run a large dealership with mom & pop management. It's charming and personable, but not effective. I haven't been back since the move into the new facility. Hopefully that forced some change.
