You should probably move up in load capacity. The ST235/85R16E provides 3640# at 80 psi. The ST235/85R16F provides 3960# at 95 psi. The LT235/85R16G provides 3750# at 110 psi.
It's just not worth the risk to skimp with trailer tire air pressures, especially Carlisle. Carlisle never recommends less tire pressure than what is on the sidewall.
All of the above options are considered "plus sized". An owner has to be careful doing that because the OE rims may not be the right size or have enough load capacity. Clearances between tires and fitment into the wheelwell need to be verified before purchasing tires that may not be a safe fitment.
