2014 Alpine 3010RE Opinion Updates (6 months)
Took 7 day trip from Idaho to Montana and stayed in West Yellowstone. First time we were in big down pour rain storm and cold temps t run heat pump, fire place, etc..
No water leaks anywhere.. I did use talcum powder before trip and rubbed inside, outside, and weather seals with baby powder..
Slides don't have that sticking sound when opening and I noticed the flap seals all properly opened..
Heat pump was a dream.. Also the fireplace worked perfect in the evenings when watching tv and we just wanted to take chill off..
Fridge - I've learned to make certain the fridge is running on LP before I close sides for a trip.. You can't open doors to reset if it doesn't auto switch to LP.. It also worked great on AC.
Hot water heater was super just using the AC heater.
Tires are still stock tow masters.. Have about 3000 miles.. Use a TST system to monitor temps and pressures.. Run at 80 psi and tow speed 60 mph.. So far I see no reasons for concern.. I stop about every 100 miles or so for a break and check them visually as well..
Some cosmetic issues , trim in living room ceiling is only issue so far.. Fixed myself with a few finishing nails..
Outside motion lite works fine for me.. LED steps lights are nice at night.
It's a house on wheels and just like a regular house will require attention from time to time..
Oh, I did relube slides with graphite spray lube when we got there and lube the hydraulic levels with silicone spray and wipe down to remove grime, etc..
How do we like our unit so far... love it
