Guess he didn't get the memo...

It's called a LAND YACHT for a reason... of course if your toy box has jet ski's this might work!

Folks either don't understand, or too much alcohol involved, that the tide comes in & goes out regardless if you're parked there or not.
We spent a couple winters in Port Aransas Texas during spring break & saw a lot of this kind of stuff, usually the too much alcohol scenario.

He’s just finishing up his trip from Europe. No big deal.

It is really hard to pull a rig our to the surf without pulling a frame rail out. Once the rig sinks in the beach it is more or less toast.

I watched a guy trying to pull a car out of the surf with a Deuce and a half. He had it park at a right angle to the surf and a block high on a boom. I ask why he did not have it aligned with the pull. He said this way he could tell how hard we was pulling. The other way he would pull the vehicle apart. It takes steady tension to slowly get it to come up out of the sand. With a trailer, most likely not going to happen.
