Slides in or out???

Hello all! We just purchased our first fifth wheel, a 2014 Alpine 3620FL. We will be keeping it at the beach for the next 2 months and going down to stay atleast every other weekend. My question is...while we are gone, should we keep our slides in or out? The technician at the dealership said to keep them in but I have had several friends tell me they leave them out. I'm figuring we will go with the technicians advice, but wanted to get other opinions!

On another note, should we leave the the air conditioners on (turned up on about 78)?

Thanks!

When we were seasonal, many or most left their slides out May through Oct. We never left the AC on when we were not there. Shut the water off and the water heater. We always left the fridge on as well as propane. Have fun.
