Water Filter

I have a Hideout 38BHDS and I've searched all over for a water filter. Anyone know where it is located or if there even is one?

Thanks!!

We bought one at Walmart and hook it up to the hose outside the trailer when setting up. Some high end units might have them but most do not.

We use this for filling up the water tank, but it doesn't remove enough of the taste for my wife so we end up bringing a big bottle of water for drinking/coffee.

Last trailer did have a separate water filter and spout by the sink. Keep thinking I'll add that but will use a generic setup that I don't have to buy from an RV store.

One good thing about the filter linked to is they all come with the adapter with the spring. Got about a dozen of them kicking around for various uses now.

Somebody else with another Keystone - a Bullet - was asking this very same question in the last day or two. The owners thought it came with a filter but it did not so you are looking for something that may not exist.

I own a 2006 Keystone Hornet, the progenitor of the Hideout and mine came with a water filter installed as standard equipment. It is located behind the kitchen slide out drawers. The drawers have to be removed to gain access and it is difficult to reach when the drawers are removed being mounted on the exterior wall.

I just picked up a package of two of these at our local Wally World for 24 bucks.
