A/C outlets

Anybody know how to get the grilles off of the A/C outlets in the ceiling?

They snap in. You have to be careful when you pry so the tabs don't break.

Like Chuckster said they pry off and snap on. I found that a wide flat head screw driver used carefully and held even with the ceiling and then twisted carefully will pop them off. It will take a fair amount of pressure to remove them but don't force it. take your time on the first one to learn how and the next ones will be easier.

If you find it difficult to pry off, rotate the grill to other positions. There is one position where there is less engagement with the frame. Unfortunately, you cannot see where that position is until you have pulled the grill off.

Thank you all. I used a very wide putty knife and it worked perfectly.
