Rv oven won’t work
My husband and I are novice RVers. We have had 4 different rv’s in about as many years. We have now settled on a 2011 bullet ultra kit by keystone that has a bunkhouse and is perfect for our family. We’ve used it several times at the beach for summer and winter. This is the first time we’ve tried using the oven though. It’s a standard rv oven. It lights but then goes out immediately. What could be wrong with it???

Probably the thermocouple (the copper bulb looking thing) that is positioned "in the oven pilot flame".... It may be "bent out of place" and a simple repositioning may fix it or the thermocouple may be defective and will need to be replaced.

Welcome to the forum 
when you light the pilot, hold the knob in for about 30 seconds and then see if it stays lit.

Two good suggestions above. You need to keep the knob depressed for a bit until the thermocouple heats up. I've had some that took a LONG time before you could release the knob. If you are just depressing it, lighting the pilot and letting it go it will go out. The thermocouple also has to be in the flame. As was mentioned if it's sitting off to the side, pulled back or ?? causing it to miss the flame it won't stay lit. I figure one of those is your problem. They can also go bad but I would bet on one of the above.

To Chuck's suggestion, most RV ovens require you to push in the oven know, light the pilot light for 30-45 seconds and then release. If the pilot light stays on, then you can set the temp and the burner should ignight. If that fails (the pilot light doesn't remain on) then it's likely the thermocouple that's the issue.
The above is with the assumption that the stve gas line has been sufficiently purged of air. If in doubt, turn on the stove top burners (one at a time) and light them. If the flames are completely blue and steady then the air has been purged.

We had a water heater in one of our previous campers that was lit with a lighter (candle lighting type) and you had to keep the knob pressed this way. We don't use our oven as I am too old and fat to crawl down there to light it. Microwave and stovetop fills our needs. If we replace our microwave someday, will put a convection oven in so we can make small pizzas.

Didn't realize I was so tall til lately getting up from working on the floor or ground, it sure seems to be a long way up.

It is physics. The little known physicist, Allen P. Beinstein. postulated that gravity's power multiples as a co-efficient of age. G=A(B2)
Gravity = Age times birthdays squared.
That is why it is hard to get up from the ground and so much easier to just arbitrarily get down onto the ground as we age.
