Neither AC works

I just got a 2011 raptor m300mp and both ACs blow but neither blow cold. I have a hard time believing that both leaked all the freon or both have seized compressors.
The living room AC has a thermostat on the wall but the bedroom AC has a dial for speed and dial for temp.
Is there an electrical component that if gone bad will prevent both from blowing cold?

I have had to repair and replace RV AC's before but never one with 2 units.

It's easy to believe that both air conditioner compressors "burned up at the same time". Just consider a low voltage campground power system, say around 105 VAC. The previous owner turned on one A/C. The trailer was getting hot, he felt the air temp at the ducts, it was "warm air" so he turned on the other A/C and it blew cold air, at least temporarily, and then the low voltage "got that compressor too"....

While the above is no guarantee of what happened to your trailer, I've seen trailers with two A/C units with both compressors "torched by low voltage", so it can happen.

If I were you, I'd get an "amp clamp" and pull the rooftop covers on both A/C units and see what amperage the compressors are pulling.

I'll go through the process of testing them. I really was hoping there was some sort of control unit between them.
Another concern is I'm running off my on-board generator right now. I had one off waited 30m and switched.

In 2011, the Raptor line came standard with a single 15K BTU air conditioner. There was a 13.5K BTU low profile unit available for the bedroom as an option. Since the trailer came standard with 50 amp shore power capacity, adding a second unit was no problem. Usually owners who added a second unit "back then" would opt for the ceiling control unit rather than try to incorporate the controls with the OEM thermostat.

Since you indicate that your bedroom unit has the ceiling controls and no wall mounted thermostat, I'd suspect that there is no interconnection between the units and no "control box that went bad"....

IF you have the skill sets then the first thing I would verify is whether the compressor on either unit is actually kicking in... However if you don't have some HVAC skills you really need to find someone that does or get an RV Tech

You can use the amp clamp at the breaker panel first so you don’t have to climb on the roof.

Another item to consider is you stated you are trying to run the A/C units using our on board genset... Have you also checked the transfer switch and made sure it is functioning correctly?

Have you also tried to run the A/C units when pugged into shore power?

I went through the process of checking both of them today. Both compressors run but they don't cool. So no freon in either. It has 2 mach15s that seems like a bit overkill but I won't complain in florida. I am looking into getting saddle valves and recharging them. Ac stop leak worked pretty great in all the clunker vehicles I owned the past few years.

Good luck with the saddle valves. Not many have good luck with them. You know how much oil/refrigerant and type?

Yeah it only takes 16oz of r410a
I decided to just replace both units but I have the saddle valves and refrigerant that I'll keep for an emergency fix.
