Hi from NW Washington State :)

Hello all, new member signing in from the upper left corner of our beautiful country. My wife and I have been RVing for the last 17 years or so. Started out with a 10 1/2 foot truck camper, after a few years we wanted something a little bigger and moved up to a 26 ft Aerolite TT. As of 3 weeks ago, we are the proud owners of a new Keystone Laredo 335MK travel trailer. Glad to be here and meet some new people and ask a few questions!!

Thank you, that is a beautiful area. I used to live in Fort McMurray for seven years working in Oil Sands of course, always loved the foothills when in Calgary or passing through that area. I have learned quite a bit just from having lurked here over the last month or so, very nice group.

I lived in the Lower Mainland for 9 years and spent lots of time in your area. Mostly cross border shopping around Bellingham through to Mount Vernon. Back then you could buy a 30 pack of beer in the US for $9.99 and in Canuck Country it would have been triple that !

The Beer price thing is just crazy. I was born in Canada and lived there for the first 25 years of my life. I remember coming over the border, the first thing we would do is buy food and Beer!!! Lol. I am about 5 miles east of Burlington near Sedro Woolley.

Burlington is where we purchased our Cougar and then had it shipped up here. I didn't have enough time to drive down and bring it back home. That would have been a nice trip.

Same goes for RVs the farther south you go, the less expensive they are I still came out ahead after paying a hefty shipping bill. A collegue of mine moved from AZ to MT and made money when he sold his 5 er in MT.

Thank you! Ran down the Oregon coast for the first time last spring...... unbelievable beaches. You guys are very lucky. I think my back is still sore from obsessive agate hunting, Lol

Welcome aboard from the small state of RI. I'm a newcomer also, so it's nice to see other people join.
Is it spring yet?!
