1977, DW and I are living in the middle of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley. It is Thanksgiving and we had never been to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. "Lets Go!" Quickly packed everything drove the several hours, got a camp spot (didn't have a TT then) set up the camp as it started to snow, went to change my wet socks and.....I had forgot to pack the cloths!! DW has never let me live that one down and I am now, also, a "list type of guy".
