Fresh Water Fill

I have a 2016 Avalanche with the Anderson 4-way valve for the water intake. I need to put some water in the fresh water tank but do not have access to a water spigot right now. Is there a way to fill the tank using the onboard pump?

The fresh water pump only works in one direction. The easiest way I know of is to use a water pump between your water jug and the hose inlet. That water inlet for the city water connection has a check valve in it so it would make gravity feeding via that connection difficult.

If you actually still are using the old style Andersen 4 way valve you need to upgrade to the new 3 way All Brass assy..

Why? when that internal plastic cartridge valve assy fails.. it already most likely has partially failed you will have city water issues, fresh water tank overfill issues, and no water to anything in the RV

and there are only two ways to get fresh water into the fresh water tank if not on city water... a water transfer pump or trying to pour in water thru the outboard overfill tube ( which I would not do)

If you need upgrade info for the new 3 way valve I have that

While looking into this I saw some things about changing the valve. On occasion I have some leaks so I knew I was going to have to do something soon.
