Question Roof Leak

I've just discovered that I have a roof leak near the front of my '17 Passport 190ML. My best guess is that seam that runs all the way across near the front. The stuff they sealed it with is built up so high that water can easily pool behind it when the trailer is level. I'm wondering how strong the roof is. I want to get up there and clean it good and the seal it with Flex Seal. Is this a good plan? Can I get up there on the roof to work on it without causing more problems?

Thanks Much,

DONOT use flexseal. Get some self leveling Dicor Lap sealant and do it right.

You can use a thin sheet of plywood to spread your load while in the roof, two pieces make it easy to move around.

Phil Swift can build a boat with chicken wire or patch a big hole in Hoover Dam if he wants, but I wouldn't use Flex Seal ANYWHERE on a rv.
There are specific sealants to use on RVs none of which are available from "As seen on TV".

It's Sealed

I watched a couple of videos on the subject, went out and got some of the Dicor Lap Sealant and got the job done. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
