Smile Greetings from Arizona

Hello,

I bought my first TT August 2017 after borrowing a friend's a few times. I wasn't sure if I would "stick to" this travel trailer "thing" so I went cheap.

I fixed up the Outback 21OUS and added all kinds of goodies. It was my ham radio "field" station, I learned to love boondocking, added extra batteries and solar and in general, pimped her out.

Driving in Winter Storm Uri in Feb 15, 2021, my trailer fishtailed and hit a concrete guard rail. The insurance company totaled it.

I loved that thing so much, I went on a quest to find another, and ended up with my 2007 28RSDS on March 8th, 2021. It, too, will need lots of love and "pimping", but I am up for it.

I "fix up" in this order:
1. Safety
2. Maintenance
3. Functionality
4. Functional nice-to-have
5. Looks

So, she won't look good for a couple of years, but she will be safe, solid mechanically, and take me boondocking!

Greetings and welcome!

Sounds like you have some fun times ahead getting that Outback ready.

Take care!
