2017 Cougar 28RBS Heater

I have a 2017 Cougar 28 RBS that the heater will not heat my trailer and I try to do alot of winter camping. My trailer is 32 feet long with a 12 foot slide and it has 20,000 BTU heater in it which I think is way undersized can anyone help tell me if that is correct or if you happen to own a 28 RBS if your heater gives you the same issues when it gets cold. Thanks

You might want to check the ducting where it connects to the furnace. The 20K BTU furnace is really smaller than I would expect for a 32' camper. I suggest you wean yourself off or propane and buy some quality ceramic electric heaters unless you boondock. The propane won't last long heating for any extended period. I run a small ceramic heater up towards the front of our camper when it gets cold at night (cold is relative in S. TX.) and might turn on the propane heat for 15 minutes when the missus crawls out of the sack to get everything toasty then turn it off. It really dries the air as well which isn't very good for sinuses. I have a second electric heater that can be used to augment in the bedroom if needed but it seldom is.

Are you the original owner? I thought they put 35k BTU furnaces in them? Mine is a 2018 22RBS and that's what it has.

I am the original owner and I have even went as far as contacting Keystone and they are telling me that is the heater it came with and I even explained that others have said that is way to small. But I am just trying to find if this is a regular problem with these trailers
