roof vent covers

I live about 75 miles from anyplace that might have roof vent covers for sale. I want to buy online for that reason. Have 3 roof vents and none have a manufacturer name. Really don't want to crawl onto the roof to pull one off so I can drive 75 miles one way to find out the rv store doesn't have matching in stock.

Anyone know what brand this vent is?

I've forgotten how many different current and past brands one of my local dealers told me there are and have been in the past. Then there are different types of hinges and lift attachments even in the same brand lines. Our last 5r was Canadian built but had a US cover though had an odd ball cover.

Sorry, I can't be more helpful other then to say that you may need to make a trip into town with a cover in hand as a sample. Good luck.

There are three things you have to match - overall size - how the lifting mechanism attaches to the lid - hinge style. You almost have to take a lid with you. You might try Trekwood, but they are pricey. If yours are originals, they might be hard to duplicate. Have you searched places like Amazon - Ventline - Camping World? Sometimes they will show a detailed pic.

Is this what you are looking for? They do fit most all vents. Check measurements on Amazon.
Or is it the cover itself? The part that cranks open/close?

I checked etrailer.com and found they offered examples of the 3 types of vent lids; mine is Ventline BV0554-01 Vent Cover for Ventline Old Style Rounded Dome Trailer Roof Vents - White: I posted a pic of the inside so you could see the way the cranked up arm connects and Iook a look on the outside; these vents have the single "tin channel" along the pivoting side just like mine. Thanks - perhaps this will do some good for someone else looking for a vent cover for an older Keystone like mine.

There us go. Better than the way I did. Two 40 mile round trips to get the one with the right hinge!
