Question Replace Atwood pressure relief valve GC6AA

I have the rotten egg smell on my 2014 water heater. Atwood recommends that after draining the tank, remove the pressure relief valve (PRV) to add vinegar to the tank. I am concerned that just trying to twist the valve might damage or twist the tank connection. There is not a lot of working room to get to the valve, and even less to try to get behind it with a backup wrench if needed. Any thoughts on removing or another way to add the vinegar?

A decent pipe wrench will get it out. I also have been known to use a large crescent ( adjustable) wrench to turn the valve. It is a bit tricky and there isn't much room, but I haven't had the need to use a backup wrench.

If you use an adjustable wrench just span the opening where the water would come out and turn.
