I have solar on my TT and love it. We boon dock a lot and have stayed for as long as 3 weeks in one spot with no electrical hook up. I do have a generator incase we need it or the temps get high and we have to be away from the rig, I power it up to run A/C for our 2 small dogs. I have talked t folks with the suitcase soar panels and they all say they work well, just have to store them while traveling. We full time so the TT is home. My generator is a Briggs and Stratton from Home Depot same as a Champion in looks just a different color only thing is they are a louder than a Honda or a Yamaha. But a BIG price difference. Good luck on your chpice and just enjoy getting out.
